I know it's not a picture, but a good friend of mine bent on making a big splash for God anywhere he happens to be is coming out with his second album soon. You should check it out...

These all have something in common. They no longer exist. The old is gone, the new has come. Or more appropriately, the new has gone the old has come.

I saw all of these things at the beginning of Summer 2009. None of them are there anymore. In their places are grown and growing versions of the innocent and vulnerable beginnings shown here. It has only been months, but such changes in such short times are not uncommon.

My thought this morning, have I grown too?

The Gypsy of Childhood

Verity. This is my picture definition of my last month at Verity :) Sorry to all who wish I would write more often, or call more often. As you can see - drowning is possible... I miss everyone a lot! I am looking forward to graduating in May. Then I can let go of that branch and enjoy a good swim instead.

I needed an excuse. Any reason to stop myself from turning the next page and continuing with my preparations for my last final. I tossed my textbook onto the floor next to my computer, grabbed a pillow and flopped down beside them both.
This was not a time for writer's block.
I glanced up and out the window to see if it was snowing or raining or something like that, which would demand my presence outside.
Nope, it was still icy. Nothing fun to play in.
Oh, wait!
